I reached to out to this bakery last minute for a birthday party cake (my last person completely ghosted me) and Jeanette was super friendly and accommodating she saved me with this favor. I’m so happy she was able to squeeze me into her orders last minute. She was super responsive and all I had to do was communicate my cake details and boom it came out perfect exactly how I wanted it! Also the cake was delicious! I have since ordered after that time because of how successful it was and even recommended them to others. I’m so glad I found them!

I came in last minute and was only checking to see if they had an already made cake. To my surprise, this amazing family-owned bakery custom made a Bill Skarsgard cake for me & it was ready the next day! It was absolutely delicious, the frosting was perfect, and the decoration was beautiful. And the family is incredibly nice! l highly recommend! I will be back!

I recently ordered a cake from here and the design was absolutely beautiful — it looked even better than I expected. They really nailed the aesthetic and presentation. However, I was disappointed with the amount of fruit inside the cake. There was much less fruit than I anticipated, especially considering the price. I also requested a cake for up to 10 people, and while I understand portion sizes vary, I expected it to be slightly bigger than what I received. Overall, the cake was visually stunning, but I do wish the filling and size better matched the cost. I hope this feedback helps for future orders.

My first experience with Las Tapatias Cakery was absolutely memorable. I was planning a 21st birthday celebration for my daughter and her cousin and we wanted a beautiful cake with great flavor as well. We are not from the Rockford area, but were planning the celebration there so we wanted to pick up a cake in the area. After looking at reviews and doing some research, I decided to go with Las Tapatias, and I’m so glad I did. The cake was almost exactly the same as the picture I sent them for reference, and it tasted amazing! Everyone loved it. Also, placing the order was easy and the service was friendly with good communication as well. We live more than an hour from Rockford, but I would consider making the drive if I need a cake in the future because I haven’t found a cake that both looks and tastes amazing. If you are looking—just choose them, you won’t be disappointed!

Best Bakery with great customer service! I reside in Chicago but will always get my custom order cakes from Tapatias Cakery. Definitely worth the drive!! They never disappoint with quality or service! Any cake vision of mine they bring to life. Highly recommend!
